Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteLoved the presentation and enjoyed chatting with you this evening. You have presented some thorough information and you have an enthusiastic speaking voice! You could have been the keynote speaker yourself!
Karen, Enjoyed speaking with you tonight. I have learned much from you during this course. Your presentation provides so much information. I often wonder, if synchronous learning were available when I did my undergrad work if I would have accessed it and not travel to classes. I think it provides a great way for groups to collaborate and share regardless of location etc. Awesome! Next conference I will be looking for you as the keynote.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words Wandra. I will try to keep progressing, as I am learning so much from this course and from "progressive" techies like yourself!
ReplyDeleteJane, I really love all the technologies and find that I want to learn more even though it is not an easy field to master. Thank you for your thoughts, they also prompted me to revisit my earlier college years - and I would, if Asynchronous were available way back when, availed myself of both types of interactions.
ReplyDeleteGood information and I loved the presentation. The slides were very creative and you did a good job of holding my attention, something that is very important in learning.
ReplyDeleteI found the fact that you listed the strengths and weaknesses of both Asynchronous and Synchronous Interaction. I totally agree that in order to have a well rounded distance learning program, both are needed. Great job! You had a clear voice and great graphics.
ReplyDeleteI meant to put "I found the fact that you listed the strengths and weaknesses of both asynchronous and synchronous interaction VERY BENEFICIAL!"
ReplyDeleteGreat speaking voice! Great presentation! Very informative! I love the layout of your presentation and I love the overall manner in which you delivered the information. I must say that I learned a lot from your presentation because it is one that is closely related to my online experience and your overall delivery demanded attention. Great job!
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteHello! I thought you did a really great job with your oral communication! You have a great public speaking voice! Do you do it often? I too agree that distance education is best when you have a little bit of both worlds! A suggestion for your next project would be to have more visuals. It is much more interesting to the viewer to look at pictures or other forms of visuals rather than looking at what your reading. Overall I think you did a great job! I learned a lot I didn't know:)
Thank you so much for the positive critique. I would have added more visuals, but I had to cut the presentaion by at least 10 or more slides, and also cut out some graphics. I guess the bandwidth could not suppport the size. Hope to meet up with this learning community again!
